Janet Gallant Wood

Janet Gallant Wood has extensive experience in oncology and palliative care, currently serving as the Nurse Practitioner Leader of the Palliative Care and Symptom Management Service at BIDMC at Winchester Hospital since June 2024. In addition to this role, Janet has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Gyn Oncology at Winchester Hospital Center for Cancer Care and as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Beth Israel Lahey Health since August 2008. Prior experience includes serving as a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital from June 1984 to September 2007. Janet obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Oncology and Gynecology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions between 1987 and 1989.
