Marco Cantele

Marco Cantele has over 20 years of work experience in the information technology and telecommunications sectors. Marco started their career in 1993 as a Software & Database Specialist at Syntax Processing S.p.A., where they worked as a software analyst and database specialist. In 1998, they joined Oracle as a Senior Lead Consultant, where they served as a project manager and database administrator for clients such as Vodafone, Whirlpool Italia, and Iveco. In 1999, they moved to Wind as a Database Administrator Group Team Leader and later took on the role of Infrastructure Architect, Senior Database Administrator, and Project Manager. In this position, they were responsible for defining and implementing infrastructure architectures, managing projects for ISO900 certification and IT Operation KPI, and leading the Performance & Monitoring Group Team. Marco currently holds the position of Head of Database Management Operating Unit at Wind Tre since 2017.

Marco Cantele holds a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications from Politecnico di Torino. Marco also has a High School Diploma from Liceo Classico XXVI Febbraio di Aosta. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Galgano & Associati Consulting in October 2020, an ITIL Foundation from PeopleCert in 2018, and an English First Certificate from the University of Cambridge in 1996.
