Raúl González Huergo serves as the ESG/Sustainability Director at Windar Renovables, a position held since 2019, where responsibilities include developing long-term sustainable development strategies, implementing policies, and leading the Sustainability Committee. Prior to Windar, Raúl has extensive experience in integrated management systems, currently holding the role of Head of Integrated Management Systems at GRUPO DANIEL ALONSO SL since 2006, and has coordinated various national and international accreditations. Earlier career roles include Head of Management System at DANIMA INGENIERIA AMBIENTAL SA, responsible for manufacturing processes for waste management, and implementation roles at Grupo DAORJE and TALLERES DANIEL ALONSO RODRIGUEZ SA, focusing on certification and quality control. Raúl holds a Master’s degree in Prevention of Occupational Hazards from the Universidad de Oviedo and additional qualifications from the Chamber of Commerce of Avilés.
