Valerie Hau

Valerie Hau is an experienced professional in computer vision and software engineering with a strong background in various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a Constellation engineer at WindBorne Systems since July 2024, Valerie previously held multiple roles at Humane from May 2021 to July 2024, including Senior Computer Vision Engineer II and Senior Software Engineer specializing in computer vision and machine learning. Valerie's career began at Google, where software engineering expertise was applied to geo photogrammetry and Android graphics from July 2018 to May 2021. An internship at Pixar Animation Studios in 2018 focused on the Tools Core team for Universal Scene Description. Valerie gained research experience as an undergraduate researcher at Stanford University, contributing to digital avatar generation and participating in projects at both the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and Amazon. Valerie holds a degree from Stanford University, attended from 2014 to 2018.
