Angelo Lozano

Angelo Lozano is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in dance coordination, child development, community advocacy, and research. As the Dance Coordinator and Competition Team Director at United in Movement since September 2022, Angelo conceptualizes hip-hop dance routines and educates team members on the culture's roots and evolution. In the role of Children's Center Student Assistant at Cal Poly Associated Students, Inc. since October 2021, Angelo fosters a positive environment for children and collaborates with educators to implement the Reggio Approach. As the Modern Dance Coordinator for Pilipino Cultural Exchange, Angelo advocates for the Pilipino community and organizes programs to enhance cultural awareness. Additionally, as a BEACoN Research Scholar at California Polytechnic State University, Angelo supervised data collection and engaged in cognitive psychology research activities. Angelo is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, expected to graduate in 2024.
