David Lewis

David Lewis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in law enforcement, regulatory affairs, and education. Currently serving as the Interim Director of the Cricket Regulator at the England & Wales Cricket Board since January 2018, David is also a Non Executive Member of the ECB Regulatory Committee. Additional roles include Executive Director at the Human Tissue Authority and Non Executive Director at the UK Home Office, where involvement includes the Home Office Biometrics and Forensics Ethics Group. As Board Chair for Friends of Ibba Girls School and Associate at the College of Policing, David demonstrates a commitment to community and educational initiatives. Previous positions include Deputy Chief Constable at Dorset Police and Devon and Cornwall Police, and Assistant Chief Constable in the South West Region. David holds an LLB in Law from the University of Bristol and a PGCE(A) in Education from the University of Surrey.
