Shahar Margulis

Shahar Margulis has a diverse work experience. Shahar started their career as a Private Tutor while studying at the University of Haifa from 2012 to 2014. During their time at the university, they also served as a Teaching Assistant for "Scientific and Statistical Programming" using the R programming language.

In 2014, Shahar joined Intel Corporation as a Data Analyst and Information System student in the Wireless Connectivity Group. Shahar worked there for one year before moving on to NICE Actimize in 2015. At NICE Actimize, Shahar served as a Scala/Java Software Developer, working on the development of a Financial Markets Compliance Solution for top banks and other financial institutions. Shahar was responsible for writing program extensions and code for Trading Surveillance rules.

In 2017, Shahar joined Hexagon PPM as a C# .NET Developer. Here, they developed software for plant engineers to design and manage the lifecycle of the engineering field in the plant.

From 2019 to 2021, Shahar worked at Windward as a Business Data Analyst. In this role, they led all research and analysis related to the Business unit, bridging the gap between the sales team and the data science team to meet business needs. Shahar also worked as an Algorithm Analyst in the OFV research team, focusing on container delay detection models.

Shahar Margulis obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Systems from the University of Haifa, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Shahar also earned a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the same university during the same period. In 2018 and 2019, Shahar attended NAYA-College, where they pursued a degree in Data Science. Furthermore, from 2005 to 2007, they attended The Hebrew Reali School, focusing on Business/Managerial Economics. In terms of certifications, Shahar received various qualifications in Python programming and machine learning. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as DataCamp, Coursera, and Udemy, with the latest certification being "Writing Efficient Python Code" from DataCamp in December 2020.
