Christie Basinas is an accomplished wine industry professional with diverse experience in wine selection, production, and customer engagement. Currently serving as the Imported Wine Buyer at Gary's Wine & Marketplace since May 2022, Christie specializes in curating a premium collection of international fine wines, emphasizing exceptional service to a global clientele. Previous roles include Cellar Lead at Farm Collective Napa Valley and DaVero Farms and Winery, where Christie honed winemaking skills and management of biodynamic practices. Early career positions at Whole Foods Market and various customer-facing roles provided a strong foundation in wine education and customer service. Christie holds multiple certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the Wine Scholar Guild, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
