David Nichols

David Nichols has over 16 years of experience in various roles related to product design, UI/UX design, and user experience. David has worked with companies such as WineDirect, Fobi, PayByPhone, HeathWallace, Experian Asia Pacific, Telstra, National Australia Bank, HSBC, Enfield Council, and various agencies.

In their most recent role as Senior Product Designer at WineDirect, they led the design effort for the company's digital transformation to the All-New WineDirect platform.

Prior to that, as a Senior UI/UX Designer at Fobi, David worked closely with Product Managers and the Engineering team on the development of new products and features for the Fobi Portal.

At PayByPhone, in their role as Senior Product Designer, they focused on improving the company's digital systems to facilitate its expansion into new markets.

While working at HeathWallace, David served as a Senior UX Consultant and provided UX expertise for various enterprise software solutions for banking and insurance providers.

As a User Experience Designer at Experian Asia Pacific, they improved the customer experience of the Hitwise suite of products and mentored junior UX designers.

David also worked at Telstra as a Business Analyst, where they collaborated with internal stakeholders to improve business processes and define scope for software development.

David gained experience in interaction/interface design as a User Experience Designer/Business Analyst in the Self Service Banking team at National Australia Bank.

In their role as Manager, Website Content at HSBC, David was responsible for managing HSBC's public websites and implementing analytical data.

Additionally, they worked as a Web Developer at Enfield Council, where they redesigned and restructured the council's website for better accessibility and functionality.

Before that, David worked as a Freelance Designer for various agencies, where they had the opportunity to collaborate with well-respected companies such as BT, British Airways, Unicef, KPMG, and others.

David Nichols earned an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from Swinburne University of Technology. David attended the university from 1998 to 2001.
