Gabriel Poblete Cuadra

Gabriel Poblete Cuadra has extensive work experience in software development and engineering roles. Gabriel'smost recent position was as a Senior Software Developer at WineDirect since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Globant as a Sr Ruby Developer from June 2019 to January 2022, where they were responsible for SSO implementation using the SAML protocol and the design and implementation of REST API. Before that, Gabriel worked at Rayos Lab Spa as a Software Development Engineer from January 2018 to June 2019, where they developed full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails and Angular frameworks. Gabriel also handled infrastructure design and optimization using Terraform and Ansible.

Before joining Rayos Lab Spa, Gabriel worked at AcidLabs as a Software Development Engineer from December 2014 to December 2017, where they gained experience in Ruby on Rails, GIT, Capistrano, Amazon services, and web scraping. Gabriel also worked with the Phoenix framework and Distillery/Edeliver for deploying Phoenix apps. Prior to that, they worked at Comercial San Ignacio Ltda as a Software Development Engineer from September 2012 to November 2014, where they were responsible for managing ERP, Payroll, and Antares software, training employees, raising requirement standards, and troubleshooting.

Gabriel also briefly worked at SOLNET S.A. as an Ingeniero de Analisis y Soporte from June 2012 to September 2012, where they implemented the FileDOM system in municipal authorities. Additionally, they completed a professional internship at Banco Itaú Chile from January 2011 to March 2011.

Gabriel Poblete Cuadra completed their undergraduate education at Universidad de Atacama from 2006 to 2012. During this time, they earned a degree in Ingeniería Civil en Computación e Informática and a Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Ingeniería.

In terms of additional certifications, Gabriel obtained various certifications related to Rails development and programming. In June 2015, they completed courses such as "Rails 4 Patterns," "Rails 4: Zombie Outlaws," "Rails for Zombies 2," and "Surviving APIs with Rails" at Code School. Additionally, in September 2014, they completed the "Rails for Zombies Redux" course at the same institution.
