Tara Taylor

Asst. Director Special Education at Winfield USD 465

Tara Taylor has a range of work experience in the education and mental health sectors. Tara started their career at Cowley County Mental Health as a Case Manager in 1996. Tara then moved into the education field, working as a Special Education Teacher at Arkansas City High School from August 1997 to July 2004. Tara then took on the role of Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at the same school from July 2004 to July 2010. Following this, they joined Winfield USD 465 as an Assistant Director of Special Education in July 2010, where they are currently employed.

Tara Taylor has a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Emporia State University. Tara also holds a Master of Arts in Special Education from the same institution.
