Deirdre Staples

Deirdre Staples has had a long and varied career at Winfree Academy Charter Schools. Deirdre began working at the company in 2004 as a Science Teacher and held this position until 2006. From 2006 onwards, they took on a series of roles within the organization, including Curriculum Coordinator, Director of Learning, Core Coordinator, Chief of Staff, Senior Coordinator, Director of Communications, and most recently, Executive Director of Compliance starting in March 2014. It is unclear when their roles as Director of Communications and Executive Director of Compliance ended.

Deirdre Staples received a Superintendent Certification from the University of North Texas in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Educational Administration from the same university between 2006 and 2012. Deirdre earned their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Texas Wesleyan University from 1999 to 2004.
