Brian S. is an experienced compliance professional with a proven track record in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Advisory and Jenius Bank Compliance at SMBC MANUBANK since January 2022, Brian is responsible for establishing the compliance framework for a newly launched digital bank. Previously, Brian held various senior positions at Wells Fargo from June 2013 to December 2021, including VP Head of Personal Lending and Small Business Lending Originations Compliance, where oversight of compliance and risk management for key business initiatives was conducted. With a strong background in risk assessment, program development, and issue management across multiple organizations, Brian's competencies are complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business and Sociology from the University of South Dakota and ongoing MBA studies at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University.
