Alex Gomes

Alex Gomes is a highly experienced professional in flight testing, currently serving as Team Lead Flight Testing at WINGCOPTER since May 2025. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Lilium from May 2018 to May 2025, progressing from Lead Flight Test Engineer to Team Leader and then Engineering Manager in Flight Test Engineering. Earlier experience includes a position as Flight Test Engineer at IPEV from February 2008 to May 2018, specializing in rotary wings. Alex holds a Master of Science degree in Aeronautical & Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA (2013-2015), a Flight Test Engineer certification from the Brazilian Air Force (2008), and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA (2003-2007).
