Andrea Pastore, PhD, PMP

Andrea Pastore, PhD, PMP has a range of work experience in project management and engineering roles. From 2022 onwards, they have been working as a Project Manager for WinGD – Winterthur Gas & Diesel. Prior to this, they worked at Siemens Energy from 2014 to 2022, where they initially served as a Project Engineer and later advanced to the role of Project Manager. In these positions, Andrea supported the development of large gas turbines, managing interfaces between different components and introducing new technology into component design. Before joining Siemens Energy, Andrea worked at Rolls-Royce from 2010 to 2014 as an Advanced Aerothermal Technologist, focusing on researching and developing low NOx staged combustion systems for aerospace gas turbines. Their responsibilities included experimental investigations, emission testing, and analysis. Andrea also holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, which they completed from 2007 to 2010.

Andrea Pastore, PhD, PMP has a strong educational background in both engineering and project management. Andrea completed a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Udine, attending from 2000 to 2006. Following this, Andrea pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree between 2007 and 2010. The specific field of study for the PhD is not provided. In addition to their academic achievements, Andrea also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which was obtained in April 2021.
