Ibrahim Saner

Ibrahim Saner has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Ibrahim began their career as a 3rd Engineer at Geden Lines in 2005. Ibrahim then worked as an Engine Superintendent at Erenler Shipping in 2006, followed by a position at Marti Shipping & Ship Management Co. Inc. in the same role from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they joined THH shipping DK as an Engine Superintendent, where they were responsible for the technical management of a fleet of 6 general cargo vessels and the planning of various surveys. In 2012, Ibrahim joined Bureau Veritas as a CM Surveyor Trainee before transitioning to a role as a Freelance surveyor later that year. Ibrahim worked as a Freelance surveyor until 2018 when they joined Bureau Veritas Switzerland Ltd. as a GSIT Inspector. Currently, Ibrahim is working for Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. as the Manager Licensee Technical Support, a position they have held since September 2018.

Ibrahim Saner's education history includes several educational experiences. In 1990, they attended Türkmen Lisesi, where they studied Maths until 1997. From 1998 to 2004, they attended Istanbul Technical University, specifically the Denizcilik Fakültesi, where they pursued a degree in Gemi Makineleri İşletme Mühendisliği (Marine Engineering). In 2008 and 2009, they enrolled in CEE IDIOMAS/MADRID to focus on learning Spanish through a language program. Additionally, in 2011, they participated in the Camino de Santiago, a walking experience, which does not involve pursuing a specific degree or field of study.
