Konrad Räss

Konrad Räss has a diverse work experience in various companies within the engineering industry. Konrad started their career at Wärtsilä in 1992 and served as the General Manager of Materials & Tribology R&D for over two decades. In 2013, they joined Burckhardt Compression as the Head of Design and Service for Burckhardt Components. Then, in 2015, they moved to WinGD – Winterthur Gas & Diesel, where they held several roles, including General Manager of Combustion System R&D and Director of R&D. Most recently, they served as the Head of Engine Technology & Development, R&D before taking on their current position as the Head of Customer Operation Support. Throughout their career, Räss has been involved in research, development, customer support, and managing various components related to engine technology.

Konrad Räss began their education at the ZHAW School of Management and Law in 1989, where they pursued the field of study in Mechanical Engineering. Konrad completed their studies in 1991 and was awarded a diploma with the degree of Dipl. Ing. HTL. In 2004, Konrad Räss returned to the ZHAW School of Management and Law to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. Konrad successfully completed this program in 2005.
