Jim Buchholz has over three decades of work experience in the financial industry. Jim began their career at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., where they held various roles, including advisor, sales leader, and VP of the Financial Education unit. During this time, their focus was on improving the financial wellness of individuals.
In 2009, Jim joined Transamerica Retirement Management as VP of Financial Wellness Strategy and Distribution. Here, they built an institutional distribution strategy and sales team for the newly launched Transamerica Retirement Management Service, SecurePath. This service provided financial wellness guidance to individuals nearing retirement.
In 2012, Jim joined Wellspire LLC as a Financial Wellness Consultant, specializing in go-to-market strategies for financial services and healthcare HSAs. Jim worked closely with advisors, broker/dealers, and other organizations to provide financial wellness education and advice-oriented solutions.
Since 2013, Jim has been with Wings Financial Credit Union as the VP of Wings Financial Advisors. Here, they lead a team of financial advisors and client service coordinators, helping members improve their personal financial wellness and addressing any financial needs they may have.

Jim Buchholz has an MBA in Marketing from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Jim also holds a BS in Finance from St. Cloud State University.
