Sandeep Khurana

Sandeep Khurana has a diverse range of work experience. Sandeep is currently working at Wingsure as an Operations Manager-India, where they are involved in creating a new micro insurance product for crop insurance. Sandeep also provides risk advisory and consultation to clients under Agriculture and Rural Insurance and assists in the development of AI and AR-based applications for Crop and other rural insurance products.

Prior to their current role, Sandeep worked at AgriWatch as a Manager, focusing on Government Business & Rural Insurance. Sandeep was responsible for gathering business from insurance companies, banks, and companies providing rural/agriculture services. Sandeep managed a team of 30 employees, conducted surveys, prepared MIS for clients, and coordinated with various clients such as MNCFC, AIC, Bajaj GIC, and Iffco Tokio.

Before joining AgriWatch, Sandeep worked at ICICI Lombard as a Manager. Their responsibilities included handling Government Business & Rural Insurance and managing Central Liaison with the Ministry of Agriculture, GoI under the Crop Insurance Scheme. Sandeep also served as a product manager for the cattle portfolio, where they installed and integrated a cattle insurance mobile application to streamline policy printing and delivery.

Prior to ICICI Lombard, Sandeep worked at Weather Risk Management Services Pvt. Ltd. as an Assistant Manager Operations. In this role, they gathered business for the insurance company in the North Zone, provided risk advisory and consultation services for agriculture insurance, prepared project status reports, and participated in project review meetings. Sandeep also planned project lifecycles and identified necessary resources.

Sandeep's earliest work experience was at DEE Piping Systems as a Business Strategy professional. Sandeep served as the single point of contact for client/consultant interactions related to techno-commercial issues. Sandeep implemented a barcode application to improve inventory tracking and updated the work-in-progress process. Additionally, they explored the feasibility of an Android-based application for scanning 2-D QR codes in the company's workflow.

Throughout their career, Sandeep has gained extensive experience in risk advisory, client consultation, project management, and the integration of technology in insurance processes.

Sandeep Khurana obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University between the years 2010 and 2014.
