Hugo Birch

Hugo Birch has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2013 with a role as Assistant to the Project Director at EDF Energies Nouvelles. In 2017, they worked as a CAD Intern at ANCILIA PROTECT LTD. In 2018, they were a Share Consultant for a World Bank Project in West Africa for the International Student Organisation - ShARE. From 2019 to 2021, they held various positions at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, including Research Assistant, Service Desk Assistant, and Master Thesis Student, working on Autonomous flight. Currently, they are a Robotics Software Engineer at Wingtra.

Hugo Birch has a comprehensive educational background. From 2010 to 2015, they attended Lycée Gerson, where they obtained a Baccalauréat in Scientific studies. From 2016 to 2019, they attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and earned a Bachelor of Science in Microengineering. In 2017, they obtained an Accounting training for Associations certification from the same institution. From 2018 to 2019, they participated in an exchange program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they studied Microengineering. Currently, they are enrolled at EPFL, where they are pursuing a Master of Science in Mobile robotics, with a minor in computational science and engineering.
