Richard Flesch

Richard Flesch is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Managing Editor at WINK NEWS since September 2023. Prior to this role, Flesch worked at The E.W. Scripps Company as the Real Time Desk Manager from September 2021 to September 2023, overseeing daily editorial flow and managing a team dedicated to real-time journalism. Flesch's extensive background also includes a tenure at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. as News Director and Assistant News Director from July 2006 to June 2021, where leadership was provided to a prominent news organization in central Illinois. Earlier in the career, Flesch worked as an Assignment Editor at Sinclair Broadcast Group from 1999 to 2006. Flesch holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Millikin University, earned in 1999, and a high school diploma from Argenta-Oreana High School.
