Bassey Ekpo

Bassey Ekpo has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Bassey currently holds the position of Chief Innovation Officer at Winland Foods. Prior to this, they served as EVP - R&D, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Engineering and Maintenance at Prima® Wawona. In 2020, Bassey worked as the CEO-ready | GM Executive | COO | Operations | Supply Chain Executive | Innovation, Turnarounds, Rest at CEO-Ready | CPG, Food + Beverage | COO | Operations. From 2019 to 2020, they were the SVP, Business Innovation at Dean Foods, where they played a crucial role in the successful sale of the company. Bassey also served in various leadership positions at Gehl Foods, LLC from 2015 to 2019, Advanced Refreshment LLC from 2011 to 2014, Pinnacle Foods from 2004 to 2011, Aurora Foods Inc from 2001 to 2004, and Kellogg Company from 1997 to 2000. In 1993, they worked as the Manager, R&R and New Ventures Group at Conagra Brands. Throughout their career, Bassey has consistently demonstrated expertise in areas such as product development, operational efficiencies, turnarounds, and business strategy.

Bassey Ekpo holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry & Physics from Kean University. In addition, they have pursued an MBA from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
