Fabrício Firmino has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Fabrício started their career in 2006 as a software developer at Marinha do Brasil, where they worked until 2009. In 2012, they joined DERI as an Assistant Researcher, focusing on developing a Natural Language Processing system. At Siemens, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Researcher/Bolsista, contributing to the construction of a predictive platform for analyzing and predicting malicious code publications. In 2013, they became a Software Engineer/Data Scientist at TechniaTI, where they worked on projects such as IDCARGA, involving the detection of household appliances through current and voltage signals. Fabrício Firmino is currently working at Winnin as the Lead Data Scientist since March 2019. Additionally, they have also worked as a substitute professor at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2014.

Fabrício Firmino completed their education at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Fabrício obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2010. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Informatics specializing in Semantics from 2010 to 2013. Subsequently, they achieved a Ph.D. in Informatics with a focus on Machine Learning/ Distributional Semantics from 2015 to 2019.
