Jacco Van Der Kooij

Jacco Van Der Kooij is the founder of Winning by Design, a previous sales consultant for Harmonic, and VP Corporate Strategy for QUMU - A Rimage Company.

Jacco has always had a passion for sales and helping others. After a friend asked him to help out at Harmonic, Jacco found himself on one of the best teams he's ever worked with. Jacco helped setup the sales team that in 6 months they won marquee deals in the Media&Entertainment space such as Amazon.

At QUMU, Jacco was responsible for Customer Success, Professional Service, Worldwide Channel/Reseller and Technology Partnerships. In this role, they developed strategic relationships with AT&T, relaunched a global channel program and launched a mobility & social media integration platform program.

Jacco's hard work and dedication paid off when QUMU was successfully acquired in October 2011. After the acquisition, Jacco decided to start their own company, Winning by Design. Winning by Design helps sales teams close more business through effective design thinking and processes.

Jacco Van Der Kooij is a telecommunications engineer who has also studied strategic marketing and visual storytelling. Jacco has a bachelor's degree from Avans University of Applied Sciences and has also taken courses from the University of Leicester, Duarte Academy, and Edward Tufte.
