Cristina Tănasă

Cristina Tănasă has worked in the field of data science since 2019, when they began working at AlphaBlock as a Data Scientist. In this role, they have been responsible for developing new ML driven portfolios that outperform the market, as well as maintaining existing portfolios and data maintenance. Cristina has used python, MongoDB, tensorflow, and other related packages to do this. Prior to this, Cristina worked at EY from 2018 to 2019 as an Assistant, where they were involved in the audit process for companies from different industries. In this role, they used excel and other internal tools to assist the audit team in analyzing financial data accuracy from the financial statements and other company registers. Cristina is currently employed at Winnow, where they have been a Data Scientist since 2022.

Cristina Tănasă began their education in 2011 when they attended Colegiul Național "George Coșbuc" Năsăud, studying mathematics and informatics. Cristina then moved on to Facultatea de Stiințe Economice și Gestiunea Afacerilor in 2015, studying finance. In 2019, they began studying accounting and finance at ACCA and has since passed exams F1, F2, and F3.
