Vanessa Southworth

Vanessa Southworth has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Vanessa is currently serving as the Community Wellbeing Director at Live Well Winona under Winona Health since November 2021. Prior to their current position, they worked as the Director of Minnesota Programs at Family & Children's Center from February 2019 to November 2021. Before that, Vanessa served as the Executive Director at Coulee Region RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) from December 2017 to February 2019. Vanessa has also held various positions at Family & Children's Center, including Director of Programs, Wisconsin, Associate Director of Program Services, Associate Director of Training & Education, Staff Development Coordinator, Coordinator of Intensive In-Home Counseling, Directors’ Assistant of Program Services, and Program Assistant of Alternative Education. Vanessa's work experience demonstrates their commitment to community service and their ability to take on different responsibilities within nonprofit organizations.

Vanessa Southworth has a diverse educational background. Vanessa obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Viterbo University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Viterbo College, which they attended from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their academic achievements, Vanessa Southworth has pursued further professional development through various certifications. In September 2017, they became a QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Certified Trainer. This certification qualifies their to provide suicide prevention training for both adolescents and adults. Furthermore, in May 2014, they obtained a certificate from the Executive Leadership Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This institute is a collaboration between the University of Michigan School of Social Work, the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and the Alliance for Children and Families.
