Dale Oviatt

Dale Oviatt is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the sports industry. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications at WinSport since October 2011, Oviatt focuses on enhancing the visibility and accomplishments of Canadian high-performance athletes in winter sports. Prior to this role, Oviatt held various editorial positions, including Sports Editor at Postmedia News and Calgary Herald, as well as Assistant Sports Editor at Calgary Sun and Sports Copy Editor at Edmonton Sun. Oviatt began a career in journalism writing for Medicine Hat News and St. Albert Gazette. Oviatt holds a Diploma in Journalism from Mount Royal University, attained between 1986 and 1988.
