Russell Flicker

is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AWH Partners. Mr. Flicker is responsible for overseeing all executive aspects of the firm, including setting the strategic direction and oversight of the company’s investment, development, and management divisions. Prior to founding AWH Partners, Mr. Flicker served as Ian Schrager Company’s chief investment officer. Prior to Ian Schrager Company, Mr. Flicker managed Blackstone Real Estate Advisors’ hospitality development, redevelopment, and repositioning team. Before Blackstone, Mr. Flicker was an Executive Vice President at The Trump Organization where he oversaw the development team in all aspects of underwriting, acquisitions, finance, design, and construction. With over 20 years of experience working for some of the most successful investors, operators, and developers in the world, Mr. Flicker remains actively involved in AWH’s pursuit of ground up, value-add, and distressed hospitality investment opportunities. Mr. Flicker received his JD from Duke University School of Law where he currently serves as a Member of the Board of Visitors. Mr. Flicker received his BA in Business Administration from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis where he currently serves as the President of the Alumni Board.
