Matthew Box

Matthew Box is a Level II Engineer at Medicus IT since June 2023, with extensive experience in both IT and music education. Since December 2015, Matthew has served as a Section Violist for the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra while also taking on substitute violist roles in various orchestras including the Winston-Salem Symphony and the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. Previous roles include Principal Violist for the High Point University Community Orchestra and Assistant Principal Violist for the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. In the field of education, Matthew worked as an IT Technician at Bennett College and taught music at Guilford County Schools and DANVILLE CITY PBLC SCHS SCHOOL DISTRICT. Matthew holds a Master of Music in Viola Performance from Baylor University and a Master of Music in Music Theory from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, among other qualifications.
