Mike Plante

Mike Plante has a diverse work experience in the ski industry. Mike started their own company, 2 Mikes LLC, specializing in discounted ski equipment. Prior to that, they worked in sales at Alpine Boothorn and Ski and Snowboard Boothorn. Mike also worked as a mountain rep for Elan/Alpina. Mike has extensive coaching and instructional experience, serving as a Head Coach at Winter Park Resort, ski instructor/coach at Park City Mountain Resort, and ski instructor/coach at Powderhorn Mountain Resort. Additionally, they owned their own business, Sportshots, from 1985 to 2012. Mike also has a background in program analysis, having worked as a senior program analyst for the Internal Revenue Service.

Mike Plante pursued a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they studied Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services at Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2004 to 2006. Furthermore, they obtained additional certification as a PSIA level 3 instructor from PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors in April 1999. In 1968, they began their education by studying Business Administration at the Rochester Institute of Technology, completing their studies in 1971. No degree was specified for their education at Metropolitan State University of Denver or the Rochester Institute of Technology.
