Franz Schlager

Franz Schlager has extensive work experience in the sports industry. Franz began their career as a Project Manager at Sport Concept - Global Sport Systems in 1999 and worked there until 2000. Franz then joined SPORT 2000 Austria as a Marketing Manager for their rent a sport division from 2000 to 2003. In 2003, they joined WINTERSTEIGER AG as an Export Manager for their Division Sports until 2006. Franz then assumed the role of Line Manager for the Machines Business Unit Sports from 2007 to 2017. Following that, they became the Head of Sales SPORTS Austria and Germany at WINTERSTEIGER AG from 2017 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Field Rent & Service at WINTERSTEIGER AG starting from 2022.

Franz Schlager began their education in 1990 at Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, where they pursued a degree in Mag. phil. Franz completed this program in 1998. In addition, during the academic year of 1996 to 1997, Schlager enrolled at Bowling Green State University, where they focused on Recreation and Tourism and obtained a degree in M.Ed.
