Michael O' Driscoll

Michael O'Driscoll has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Michael has held various roles, starting with Junior Quantity Surveyor at Doyle Building Contractors in 1991. Michael then worked as a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator at Irishenco before becoming a Senior Quantity Surveyor at M F Kent West Africa. O'Driscoll later joined Krantz-TKT as a Contract Administrator.

In 2000, they joined Mercury Engineering as a Commercial Manager, where they worked on high-profile mechanical, process, and oil and gas projects. Michael also played a key role in establishing and managing a joint venture business in the Middle East.

O'Driscoll further enhanced their career by becoming an Associate Director at Davis Langdon PKS, specializing in MEP quantity surveying and sustainable construction technologies. Michael then joined Mercury Engineering Middle East as a Commercial Manager for a major MEP construction business operating in multiple GCC locations.

In their most recent role before joining Winthrop Technologies in 2023 as a Commercial Director, O'Driscoll served as a Commercial Director at Absal John Paul Contracting, where they were responsible for managing the commercial, procurement, and financial functions of the business during a period of significant growth.

Throughout their career, O'Driscoll has demonstrated expertise in managing commercial and procurement functions, as well as extensive experience in MEP construction and quantity surveying.

From 1987 to 1991, Michael O'Driscoll pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in Surveying with a specialization in Construction Economics at Bolton St. / Trinity College Dublin.
