Emma Gronbeck

Emma Gronbeck is an experienced archivist with a Master's degree in Library & Information Science, specializing in Archives/Archival Administration, obtained from Simmons University. Currently serving as an Archivist at The Winthrop Group, Inc. since November 2020, Emma previously worked as an Assistant Archivist at Dia Art Foundation and held positions such as Project Archivist at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where extensive processing and digitization projects were completed. Additional experience includes interning at the Nantucket Historical Association and processing archives related to significant figures. Emma's early career involved retail and customer service roles, including experience as a bookseller and a retail associate, highlighting a versatile skill set complemented by a robust academic background in Scandinavian Studies and Medieval Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Hampshire College.
