Jaap Gielink

Jaap Gielink's work experience begins with their current role as the CEO and Co-founder of Wintor, a company that specializes in Augmented Reality. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Buy & Build at Valcon, where they were responsible for the growth and management of VIQTOR DAVIS. During their time there, they successfully increased the company's workforce from 75 to over 900 employees. Before Valcon, Jaap worked at Alliander in various roles, including Corporate Ventures & Investment Portfolio and Corporate Ventures & Telecom. Jaap was responsible for business control and managing investment portfolios. Jaap also co-owned and operated Science Rockstars, a tech startup that offered a unique SaaS product called PersuasionAPI. Jaap handled operations, finance, and fundraising for the company. Earlier in their career, Jaap worked as a Global Internal Auditor at Nutreco, reviewing subsidiary companies worldwide. Jaap has experience in auditing over 30 subsidiaries in more than 20 countries. Jaap's career began at PwC, where they worked as an Associate and Senior Associate. Overall, Jaap Gielink has a diverse and extensive background in various industries and roles, showcasing their expertise in strategy, finance, operations, and business development.

Jaap Gielink has a diverse education history with a focus on leadership communication, corporate strategy and M&A, and auditing. Jaap completed an Executive Education program in Leadership Communication at INSEAD in 2020 and another program in Corporate Strategy and M&A in 2019. Jaap is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, with an expected completion date in 2022.

Prior to their executive education, Jaap obtained a BSc + MSc degree in Business Economics from Radboud University in 2007. Jaap went on to attend Maastricht University, where they completed a post-master program in Auditing (RA) from 2008 to 2013. Before that, they participated in a deficiencies program for post-master Auditing at Maastricht University in 2007.

Additionally, in February 2014, Jaap obtained the certification of Register Accountant / RA (Dutch CPA) from the Nederlandse Beroepsorganisatie van Accountants (NBA).
