Christopher "Kai" Kennedy is an accomplished professional in the field of security engineering with extensive experience in vulnerability management and application security. Currently serving as Vice President of Security Engineering at Wintrust Financial Corporation since February 2018, Kennedy leads a team focused on key areas such as Threat Intelligence and Purple Teaming. Previous roles include Manager and Systems Engineer for Threat & Vulnerability Management at By Light Professional IT Services, as well as various security analyst positions supporting the VA National Security Operations Center and the Defense Information Systems Agency. Kennedy's career began in the United States Air Force, where training in computer science and multiple roles laid a strong foundation for a successful trajectory in cybersecurity.
