Sara Banowski

Sara Banowski has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sara currently holds the position of AVP, Lead Instructional Designer at Wintrust Financial Corporation, where they are responsible for storyboarding and creating eLearning using Articulate tools. Additionally, they manage a team and collaborates with Learning Advisors to support the company's team members. Prior to this role, Sara worked as an Instructional Designer at the same company, where they utilized the ADDIE Model to create sales and service ILT courses and collaborated with Subject Matter Experts to develop compliance eLearning courses. Previously, Sara worked at Parts Town as an Instructional Designer, where they researched, implemented, and managed a Learning Management System and content provider. Sara also facilitated leadership sessions for distribution center leaders and implemented a custom skills assessment program. Earlier in their career, Sara served as a Senior Corporate Trainer at MB Financial Bank, where they designed and delivered custom training classes for frontline managers and employees. Sara was skilled in various training methods and was involved in strategic curriculum planning. Prior to that, they worked at InBank/Interstate Bank as an Internal Sales/Human Resources Assistant, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, they played a key role in developing and implementing a service culture shift, as well as hiring, training, and motivating front line employees.

Sara Banowski obtained their Associate's Degree in Business from Moraine Valley Community College in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Emerging Leaders 1 from Wintrust Financial Corporation in June 2023, Mentor Badge from Wintrust Financial Corporation in March 2023, Mentee Badge from Wintrust Financial Corporation in February 2023, and Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in February 2022.
