Cara S.

Cara S. has a diverse work experience starting from 2017. Cara began their career as a Legal Intern at Friedman Vartolo LLP and later served as a Legal Intern at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. In 2018, they worked as a Legal Intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Cara continued their legal journey by joining the New Jersey Courts as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Mark Chase in 2019. Following this, they joined FINRA in 2020 as an Attorney/Case Administrator. In 2021, they worked at Wong Fleming as a Commercial Litigation Attorney. Currently, they are employed at Wintrust Life Finance, where they hold the position of Assistant Vice President/Assistant General Counsel starting from September 2022.

Cara attended The Pingry School from 2008 to 2012 and obtained their High School Diploma. Cara then went on to New York University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. Lastly, they attended Cardozo School of Law from 2016 to 2019, obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.

In terms of certifications, they received the following:

- In April 2023, Cara obtained certifications in "Advance Your Skills as a Manager," "Develop Your Skills as a New Manager," and "Interviewing Techniques" from LinkedIn.

- In July 2023, they completed the "Fundamentals of Wintrust Leadership" certification from Wintrust Financial Corporation.

- Additionally, they attained the "Attorney at Law" certification from the New Jersey Courts in April 2020 and the New York State Unified Court System in February 2021.
