Wajid Baryalai

Wajid Baryalai, a highly experienced professional, is the Founder of The Indent Project, a not-for-profit startup dedicated to improving access to prosthetics for children in conflict zones. Currently, Wajid holds the position of Partner and A/NZ Head of Consulting for Communications & Media at Wipro, focusing on P&L management and leading a team of industry experts. Previous roles include Associate Partner at IBM, where Wajid served as Technology Innovation Lead, and Group Owner at Telstra, overseeing engineering initiatives in Enterprise Networks and Cyber Security. Wajid’s foundational experience also includes a Biomedical Engineer role at Southern Health and business ownership of Afghan Pamir Restaurant. Academic qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from Swinburne University, complemented by professional development at Harvard Business School Online.
