Dr. Jan Hicking

Dr. Jan Hicking is a seasoned professional in digitalization and information management, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Solutions and Project Manager for Digitalization at WIRTGEN GROUP since April 2022. Prior experience includes leadership roles at FIR an der RWTH Aachen from December 2016 to March 2022, where Dr. Hicking was responsible for information management and led a research unit in information technology management. Prior work experience includes a Master’s thesis focused on energy efficiency at Adapton Energiesysteme AG, internships at AUDI AG, and research and development positions at the Dr. Reinold Hagen Stiftung. Dr. Hicking holds a Doctorate in Engineering, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
