Michael Felbinger

Michael Felbinger is an experienced professional in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as CEO, Senior Patent Searcher & Analyst at IPnovation GmbH since October 2018. In addition to this role, Michael Felbinger is a QPIP mentor at ISBQPIP and has been involved as a trainer in search techniques at FORUM Institut - Intellectual Property since 2018. Michael also functions as a Patent Search Expert at the Wirtschaftskammer Oberösterreich's Patent Information Day since 2022 and serves as a lecturer for the EPO Certificate SME program at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies - CEIPI in 2023. Previous teaching positions include a lecturer of search techniques at OTH Amberg-Weiden from 2020 to 2021. Michael's prior professional experience includes significant roles in patent information and management at IPnovation e.U. and ABP Patent Network GmbH. Michael holds an MBA and an MSc in Innovation Management from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, alongside ongoing education with the European Patent Academy and the European Patent Institute.
