Kevin Walters has extensive experience in public affairs, having worked at the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) since May 2011, where roles have included Public Affairs Associate, Public Affairs Analyst, Strategic Research Coordinator, Historian in Residence, and Graduate Student Researcher. In these positions, Kevin has focused on shaping policy positions, managing government relations, and producing written content while providing historical and analytical context. Prior to WARF, Kevin held various roles at GE Capital, including Capacity Planner and Forecaster and Strategic Staffing Planner, and gained teaching experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Texas at Dallas. Kevin's educational background includes a PhD in U.S. History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and multiple degrees in history and humanities from The University of Texas at Dallas and The University of Texas at Austin.
