Kevin Hoffman has a diverse work experience, starting as an Assistant Sports Editor at the Kentucky New Era in 2008. Kevin covered prep sports and wrote a weekly column. In 2010, they joined The Janesville Gazette as a Reporter, where they wrote news articles and traveled extensively. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Lessiter Publications as an Associate Editor, overseeing magazine production and managing freelancers. Kevin then moved to Great American Media Services as the Editorial Director, overseeing the production of four sports magazines. In 2020, Kevin joined the Wisconsin Department of Ag as a Public Information Officer, managing communications for various divisions. In 2023, they became the Deputy Director of Communications at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Kevin Hoffman attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism and Advertising.
