Wisconsin Early Childhood Association (WECA)
Kayla Gardner is a dedicated professional in the field of early childhood education, currently serving as a T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Counselor and REWARD Stipend Specialist at the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association since December 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Lead Toddler Teacher at Here We Grow Learning Center and an Assistant Teacher at the UW Child Development Lab. Kayla has also held positions in residence life at UW-Madison and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the UW Infant Learning Lab under Dr. Jenny Saffran. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies, Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

WECA offers training, an annual conference, professional development, educational scholarships, a child nutrition program, and more.
