Jim Rosenberg is an experienced professional in economic development and public affairs, currently serving as the Regional Economic Development Director at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation since October 2017. With a strong background in business development from SEH and previous roles in educational initiatives at the University of Wisconsin - Marathon County, Rosenberg has been instrumental in promoting economic growth and job creation in several counties across Northeastern Wisconsin. Additionally, Rosenberg has held elected positions, including Supervisor of the 1st District on the Marathon County Board and Alderman for the City of Wausau, where leadership in economic development committees played a significant role. Past experience also includes positions in public relations and community affairs, providing a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
