Jason Tish

Jason T. is a seasoned professional in historic preservation and cultural resources management, currently serving as the Certified Local Government and Preservation Education Coordinator for the Wisconsin Historical Society since October 2020, where responsibilities include coordinating the Certified Local Government program and providing training for preservation commissioners. Prior experience includes founding Archetype, Historic Property Consultants, where Jason T. assisted property owners with historic designations and funding processes. As Executive Director of the Madison Trust for Historic Preservation from 2009 to 2014, Jason T. managed organizational activities and advocacy efforts. Additional roles include Cultural Resources Consultant at Mead & Hunt, Inc., Digital Resources Specialist at the Wisconsin State Historic Preservation Office, and Cultural Resource Specialist at Colorado State University. Jason T. holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture/History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Geography from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
