Omar Armendariz, AIA, currently serves as a Capital Project Manager at the Wisconsin Historical Society, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this role, Omar gained valuable experience as an Architectural Intern at Indigo / Hammond & Playle Architects, LLP from July 2015 to June 2021. Omar's career began as a Drafter at Armendariz y Asociados S.C. from January 2005 to January 2013, and included a tenure as a Spanish Teaching Assistant at the University of New Mexico from January 2014 to May 2015. Additionally, Omar worked as an Air Traffic Agent at Lineas Aereas Azteca for a brief period in 2004. Omar holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from the University of New Mexico, earned between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Architecture from Instituto Superior de Arquitectura y Diseño ISAD, completed in 2011.
