Richard Mannisto

Rich Mannisto, Ed.D. is an experienced educational leader and development professional currently serving as Vice President of Advancement at Wisconsin Lutheran College since September 2013. In this role, Mannisto leads teams focused on fundraising, alumni relations, donor relations, marketing, and crisis communication, with a key responsibility of increasing development revenue for the college. Previous positions at Wisconsin Lutheran College include Vice President of Development & Strategic Initiatives and Vice President for Development, where Mannisto managed development efforts and spearheaded strategic planning processes. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Partnerships at the Kern Family Foundation, Assistant Governor for Rotary International District 6270, and Director of Mission Advancement at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, where a successful $5.5 million Major Gifts Campaign was completed. Mannisto holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Wisconsin and advanced degrees in Music Education, showcasing a robust background in both development and fine arts management.
