Jennifer A. Dillenger is the VP of Institutional Advancement and Chief of Staff at Spartanburg Methodist College. Jennifer has over eight years of experience in higher education, including seven years at Wofford College. At Wofford, they served as the Director of The Space and, later, the Interim Executive Director. In this role, they were responsible for presenting the mission of the college to potential donors and securing financial support for various programs.

During their time at Wofford, Jennifer Dillenger created the Mike Brown Internship Program, an initiative that provides funding for students to gain global summer experiences. Jennifer also co-created a summer leadership program that generated over half a million dollars in revenue over five years. In addition, they developed a network of professional and industry contacts for full-time student employment, internships, and fund raising opportunities. Some of the organizations they have worked with include Carrot Creative, Christie’s, Charity Water, Wells Fargo, BBVA, ScanSource, Milliken, BMW, and Michelin.

Jennifer Dillenger has also been responsible for leading and executing various career development programs for students. These programs have been successful in helping 95% of students get employed or into graduate school within six months of graduation. Jennifer has secured outside funding to supplement the departmental budget and managed the departmental budget for the 2015-2016 school year. Jennifer currently manages a staff of five full-time employees.

Jennifer A. Dillenger has earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the Darla Moore School of Business as well as a BA and BS in English and Biology from Wofford College. Jennifer is also a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator Certified Practitioner from CPP, Inc. and a StrengthsQuest Educator from Gallup.
