Mark Sommerhauser is an accomplished communications director and policy researcher at the Wisconsin Policy Forum, where responsibilities include disseminating public policy research and analyzing state and local finances since June 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a political reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal, where coverage focused on politics and government, and previous roles as a Pre-12 education reporter and political reporter at St. Cloud Times Media, covering educational issues and governmental activities in Minnesota. Sommerhauser’s career began at the Fulton Sun, covering a variety of topics including government and education. Mark Sommerhauser holds dual bachelor's degrees in Journalism and History from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
