Evan Casey

Evan Casey is an experienced reporter with a diverse background in journalism, currently serving at Wisconsin Public Radio since July 2022. Previous roles include Communities Reporter at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from October 2019 to July 2022, and freelance journalism positions at Kenosha News, Shepherd Express, The Journal Times, Milwaukee Courier, and Bay View Compass. Evan has covered a range of topics, including local government, social justice, and community events, often writing on tight deadlines and contributing original photography. Early career experience includes a digital content internship at WDJT CBS 58 and a social media management role at the UWM Center for Aging and Translational Research. Evan holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earned between 2013 and 2017.
